Seoul Music Awards to Celebrate the Visit Korea Year Campaign

Sponsored by the Visit Korea Committee and hosted by Sports Seoul, the 21st Hi One Seoul Music Awards was successfully held in the Gymnastic Arena (Olympic Park) on January 19th. Befitting its tradition and authority, the Awards attracted many Koreans and international visitors who want to watch K-Pop stars. The event proceeded with passionate responses from audience members, showcasing the wild popularity of Hallyu (Korean Wave) around the world.

The all-girl group Kara was presented with the Hallyu Special Award, which is given to a contributor in boosting the popularity of Hallyu around the world. In addition, Miso (Smile) representatives consisting of college students offered a "Hospitality Campaign" for audiences as a pre-ceremony event.
