The oil spill in Taean reminded us of the enormous resources and efforts required to restore contaminated natural environments. Thanks to the joint effort of the government, Taean municipal council and the general public, Taean is once again teeming with wild life. To celebrate the successful restoration of Taean, a pro-environmental festival will be hosted in 2010. The event will provide visitors with a valuable opportunity to learn all about our eco-system, and to enjoy the natural beauty of Taean.
