During the campaign period of the 2010-2012 Visit Korea Year, the Visit Korea Committee held the K-POP Cover Dance Festival in Celebration of the Visit Korea Year using the globally popular K-POP and invited Hallyu fans from all over the world to Korea, the home of K-POP.

Beginning 2013, we will invite Hallyu fans worldwide to Korea for the K-POP Festival in Gangwon 2013 to promote the tourist attractions in Gangwondo, the venue for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

Get a chance to visit Korea, the birthplace of K-POP and perform on the same stage with K-POP artists!

How to Participate

• - Online Preliminaries (May - Sept.) : UCC Preliminaries through the
  homepage.
• - Overseas Finals (Jun. - Aug.) : The local finals by country will be held
  for the qualifiers.
  *The venue and date for the finals by country will be announced later.
• - Finals in Korea (Sept. 28) : Winners of overseas finals will be invited to
  Korea for the finals.(Tie-up with the Wonju Dynamic Festival)

• - K-POP artists themselves visit some countries where overseas finals are
  held and serve as judges during the finals.
• - We offer a six-day Korean trip wherein the world's champions of cover
  dance get together with other qualified teams for the finals in Korea.
• - You can advance to the finals where in K-POP artists themselves serve as
  judges and perform on the same stage with them.
• - You can be appointed an honorary ambassador for the 'K-POP Festival in
  Gangwon 2013'.
