Bae, Yong Joon

There is no one better to represent tourism in Korea than 39 year old award winning actor Bae, Yong Joon. Bae Yong Joon is one of Korea’s biggest successes and the highest paid actor outside of Hollywood. He leaped to popularity after the international success of the drama Winter Sonata, and now boasts a yearly income of more than 40 million dollars. He has authored 4 books, including “Discovering the Beauty of Korea”, a photo essay book written as he traveled around Korea seeking to learn more about his own country and introduce it to fans. He continues to introduce his beloved country to people worldwide through his role as PR Ambassador for the Visit Korea Year Campaign.
